Dr. Rosen is a Canadian and American board certified dermatologist who graduated from McGill Medical School with the Dr. Allen Spanier Prize for Professionalism in Medicine, and the J. Francis Williams Prize in Medicine and Clinical Medicine. He went on to complete his five year dermatology residency at McGill University, and then was accepted into a one year fellowship program in procedural dermatology at the New York Laser and Skin Care Clinic in Manhattan. There, he had the unique experience of training one on one with a world renowned laser expert and dermatologic surgeon, gaining expertise in injectable treatments, laser procedures and Mohs skin cancer surgery, and received a certified fellowship from the American College of Graduate Medical Education. This exceptional training, combined with over 20 years of clinical practice experience, has positioned Dr. Rosen as a true expert in the field of aesthetic medicine.
Following his fellowship in New York, Dr. Rosen came to Burlington, to join his great friend and colleague Dr. Channy Muhn, to create Dermetics. With a shared vision to create an elite skincare centre, and shared values steeped in honesty, integrity, and authenticity, they attract patients throughout southwestern Ontario and beyond.
Dr. Rosen prides himself on providing complete peace of mind for his patients, who know that they will achieve the best possible, safest, and most natural outcomes in his hands. His skills are highly sought after in the aesthetic industry where over the years companies including Allergan, Merz, Galderma®, Sciton®, Cynosure/Palomar®, Candela® and Cutera® have invited him to lecture or provide insight on advisory boards for them and Allergan®, the manufacturer of Botox Cosmetic® and Juvederm® have commissioned him and Dr. Muhn to treat patients for consumer marketing campaigns.
In addition, Dr. Rosen plays an active role in clinical research which allows him to be involved in the development of new treatments and technologies, contribute to medical literature through his many publications, and remain on the forefront of advances in the field of aesthetic medicine.
Despite all of his successes and accomplishments, this dedicated father of three still hopes to one day play in the NHL.
