What Is Mole, Skin Tag and Cyst Removal?
Moles, skin tags, cysts and other benign growths can be quickly and safely removed with a variety of minor procedures.
The removal process starts with a consultation where a dermatologist will consider the size, depth and location of the growths.
Based on the assessment, a recommendation for the method that will offer the best results with little to no scarring will be provided. In most cases, treatment can be done the day of your consultation.
Our Dermatologists are unable to provide medical diagnosis under our cosmetic practice.
Steps in Elective Mole, Skin Tag and Cyst Removal
Once your lesion(s) has been clinically assessed and diagnosed by a Doctor within a year and deemed to be a cosmetic removal, contact our office for booking a consultation and removal appointment. Fill out the online form or contact us at 905-336-9624 opt 2.
- Pictures will be requested of the lesions to be removed. To aid in the doctor’s assessment of the lesion in order to correctly plan for your lesion removal.
- Indication of how long the lesion(s) have been present.
- Full contact details will be required including health card information (please have this information available upon booking).
- A non-refundable deposit will be required at time of consultation booking. This deposit will be applied to treatment cost should you choose to proceed.
If you or your doctor are concerned about a mole, cyst or any other lesion and need a medical dermatology assessment, this will NOT fall under our cosmetic services and a referral is required.
